High School Band

The Houston High School band is a performance based ensemble that learns and performs music at a quick pace. They are featured at the fall and spring band concerts as well as at various community and school events. The band participates in the Ohio Music Education Association Large Group concert band competition in class “C” each spring. This competition serves as a way for the students to show off their hard work as they perform three pieces and sightread for a panel of judges.
