 Houston Golf Results

On Monday, August 14th, the Houston High School Boys Golf Team finished with a season best team score of 392 in the Waynesfield Invitational held at Prairie View Golf Course.   All six golfers participating scored very well, with three of our golfers achieving personal records:  Jon Steiner (So.) with a 9 hole score of 44, Cole Pitchford (So.) with a 9 hole score of 49 and an 18 hole score of 100, and Collin Walker with a 9 hole score of 50 and an 18 hole score of 102.  

The boys beat:   Ridgemont (496), Perry (413), Fairlawn (417), Arcadia (429), Lima Senior (No Finish), and Calvary Christian (No Finish).

Individual Scores:  Cameron Via (95), Bryan Funk (98), Jon Steiner (99), Cole Pitchford (100), Collin Walker (102) and Nathan Stangel (105).  Great job guys!

Track Open!

The district's track resealing project has been completed!  The striping of the track will be completed during a two day period in late August.  You can access the track by using the walk-in gate located by the shot and discus area which is turn 3.  Thank you for your patience during this all important maintenance project!

Classified Opening

Hardin Houston is accepting applications for the following position:

Elementary instructional aide

The ideal candidate will be able to provide math and reading instruction to large group, small group, and individuals, be flexible, and be able to get along with others.  Requirements are to hold an associates degree or be able to pass a math and ELA test in order to qualify for a paraprofessional license by the Ohio Department of Education.  Interested persons should send a completed application, a resume,  and a letter of interest to sroseberry@hardinhouston.org by July 19, 2017.

Coach Openings

Engraved Brick Pavers

Hardin-Houston Local School is currently selling personalized engraved paver bricks to residents, alumni and local businesses. The 4" X 8" pavers will be placed at the front entrance of the new building. The personalization may include your name, company name, recognition of military service, or in memory of loved ones. There will be approximately thirteen hundred pavers available, sold on first come, first serve basis.
