Marching Band

The Wildcat Marching Band provides spirit and energy at school and community events and maintains a busy performance schedule. The marching band is composed of Houston High School instrumental musicians and is a curricular marching ensemble rehearsing exclusively during the school day. Due to Houston not having a football team, most of the Wildcat Marching Band performances are away at festivals, parades, and the annual Fort Loramie combined band halftime show.

During the 2025 season, they will have over six performances including:

• Shelby County Fair Performance (July 20)
• Open House Performance (Aug. 12)
• Loramie Harvest Festival Parade (Sept. 14)
• Ft. Loramie Football Halftime (Oct. 3)
• Bradford Pumpkin Festival Parade (Oct. 9)
• Wapakoneta Halloween Parade (Oct. 16)
• Fall Concert (Nov. 10)
