Important Upcoming Dates
Fee Pay Day
Houston High School will again host a fee pay day on Thursday August 10th from 7:00 AM-7:00 PM. Students/parents can pick up schedules, pay school fees, deposit money into their lunch account, buy a student parking pass, and acquire locker assignments for students in grades 7-12.
9th, and 7th Grade Orientations
Mr. Judy and Mrs. Merickel will be hosting both orientations on Thursday, August 10th in the Commons. 9th grade orientation starts at 6:00 PM and 7th grade follows at 6:30 PM.
5th Grade Orientation
Mrs. Roseberry will host a 5th grade orientation on Tuesday August 15th in the Auxiliary Gym at 6:00 PM.
Open House
Open House will be on Tuesday, August 15th from 5:00-7:00 PM. All teachers and bus drivers will be present. This is a great opportunity for parents and students to meet their teachers and bus drivers. The Hardin-Houston PTO will once again have the ice cream truck here offering free ice cream to all PK-6 graders. All others can purchase their favorite ice cream treat. Last, but not least, stop by and grab a free hotdog before you head home after open house.
First Student Day
Thursday August 17th is the first student day for grades 1-12 & Kindergarten with last names starting with A-G only.
Friday August 18th is the first day for Kindergarten with last name starting with H-O only.
Monday August 21st is the first day for Kindergarten with last name starting with P-Z only.
