Fall Sports Awards Program
Houston High School held the Fall Sports Awards Program on Tuesday, November 7th. Golf award winners were Ethan Lukey with the Low Stroke Average, Luke Crim received the Most Improved Award, and Reagan Steiner was the Wildcat Award Winner. Volleyball award winners were Katie Maier with the Best Offensive Player Award, Kayla Winner with the Best Defensive Player Award, and Ella Crim with the Wildcat Award. Cross country award winners for the boys team were Dylan Shaffer as the Top Runner, Dakari Crawford as Most Improved, and Rusty Vondenhuevel with the Wildcat Award. Cross country award winners for the girls team were Mekayla Pleiman as the Top Runner, Heidi Jenkins as the Most Improved, and Lilly Detrick with the Wildcat Award. Several athletes were also recognized for earning All League honors. Receiving 1st Team SCAL were golfer Ethan Lukey. 2nd Team SCAL honors went to golfer Tanner Voisard. Receiving honorable mention All SCAL was volleyball player Katie Maier. Congratulations to all fall athletes! Pictures of award winners will be posted on Wednesday.
