Spelling Bee
Hardin-Houston Local School held the spelling bee on Wednesday, December 13th. Hannah Ostendorf, 8th grade, won the bee after spelling the words amphitheater and thorax correctly to emerge victorious after 16 rounds. First runner-up was 7th grader Alex Ginn and 2nd runner up was 6th grader Alexis Rust. The next level of competition will be the Lima Regional Spelling Bee after the first of the year.
