  • There is a JH Volleyball meeting today during Wildcat Time in the commons. Any 7th grade girl interested in playing in the 2022-2023 season is encouraged to attend.

  • Juniors and Seniors: there will be a representative from Hobart Brothers in Troy here to meet with you and share information about valuable employment opportunities with their company. You do not need to sign up, but please just report to the Commons today during Wildcat Time to hear what they have to offer. Don’t look back and say you wish you would have heard what they had to say…just come down, relax, and add this to your long list of after-high-school options.

  • Reminder that HS Field Day is tomorrow after lunch. Don’t forget to wear your team color. Seniors are red, Juniors are white, Sophomores are gray and Freshman are black. Make sure to bring sunscreen and plenty of water because it will be hot and sunny out tomorrow.

  • Nominations for Teacher of the Year are now open. All nominations must be submitted through the Google survey form which can be found on the school’s website by May 6th.

  • The Spring Blood Drive is on Wednesday May 4th. Those who are preparing to donate, please be sure to eat lots of protein and iron-rich foods, such as meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, fruits, beans, and fortified cereals and breads. Prepare to eat a full dinner on Tuesday and a good breakfast on Wednesday. Most importantly, you need to be super-hydrated. Drink lots of water and avoid caffeine.

  • The next National Honor Society meeting will be on Monday May 2nd during Wildcat Time. We will meet in the Media Center. NHS members are also reminded that next week you need to bring your food and drink items in for the Blood Drive.

  • Students, this week is National Teacher Appreciation Week. This week I invite you to reflect on the countless hours that your teachers spend preparing lessons, materials, and resources and the reason why they do those things. Your teachers that you are with each and every day have dedicated themselves to you and your education. For many of you, they are also there for you to talk to, confide in, and rely on for support. Students, your teachers deserve your respect each and every day, but this week I encourage you to take the time to thank them for all that they do!
