  • On September 11, 2001, at 8:46 am a hijacked plane crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. That moment, and the events that followed, have forever impacted our Nation and the world in which we live. Tomorrow marks the 20th anniversary of that terrible day. This weekend we take this opportunity to remember the nearly 3,000 people that lost their lives at the World Trade Center, The Pentagon, and those on United Airlines Flight 93. We also have a chance to honor the brave members of our military that in the days and years that followed fought to protect us and the rights that we as Americans hold so dearly. This weekend people around the country will pause to remember the 9/11 attacks, and will vow to “never forget”.

So today I would like to leave you with this quote form Sandy Dahl, the wife of Flight 93 pilot Jason Dahl. “If we learn nothing else from this tragedy, we learn that life is short and there is no time for hate.”
