Regional Cross Country Meet Information
Ava Mowery will take part in the Regional Cross Country Meet in Troy on Saturday October 26th. She will run at 10:45 AM. All ticket sales are online and are $5 for student and $11 for adults. Congratulations to Ava Mowery as she qualified for the Regional Cross Country Meet at Troy as an individual by placing 23rd overall at the District Meet.

Congratulations Lexi Hartings
Congratulations to Lexi Hartings for being recognized by the Shelby County Athletic League Coaches. Lexi’s play this year earned her Honorable Mention All SCAL. Lexi was also recently voted onto 2nd team District 9.

Fall Sports Tournament Information
Junior High Volleyball SCAL Tournament
Russia is hosting the junior high volleyball tournament this year on October 10th, 12th, and 14th. The tournament draw took place on Wednesday October 2nd. The 7th grade season ended with a loss to Anna on October 10th. For the full 7th grade bracket, click here. The 8th grade season ended with a loss to Russia on October 10th. For the full 8th grade bracket, click here. Admission is $5 per person. Only SCAL passes will be honored.
Varsity Volleyball
Houston will take part in the Division VI Sectional Tournament at Newton High School. They defeated Franklin Monroe in the first round on October 19th. Their next game is against Tri-Village on Thursday October 24th at Newton starting at 5:30 PM. Tickets are $5 per student and $8 per adult. To purchase tickets, go to www.ohsaa.org/tickets. Varsity Cross Country
The varsity cross country teams will compete in the District Cross Country Meet on Saturday October 19th at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course in Cedarville. The varsity boys will run at 10:00 AM. The varsity girls will run at 10:45 AM. All ticket sales are online. There will be cash sales at the gate. Tickets are $5 per student and $8 per adult.
