    Career Fair

    The Houston FFA Chapter will host their second Career Fair on Friday, April 19th. The fair will begin at 12:00 PM on and extend to 5 PM that evening. Houston students may visit anytime and outside visitors are welcome from 3:00-5:00 PM. Approximately 30 different companies will be represented.

    Full Time Custodian Position

    Congratulations Alyssa Sweargin

    Congratulations to Alyssa Sweargin. She won the 10th through 12th grade category for the week of April 6th.  Her work will be featured on the Artsonia website from now until April 20th so anyone who wants to view the artwork can. She won a gift certificate and will receive plaque for her artwork. Thank you to all who got online and voted for Alyssa to help her win this award.

    Congratulations Emilee Earl

    Congratulations to Emilee Earl for breaking her own Houston High School girls pole vault record with a vault of 11’3″ during the quad meet at Covington on Tuesday April 9th. Emilee set the previous record of 11′ 0″ at the State Track Meet in Columbus on Friday June 2, 2023.

    Congratulations Destination Imagination Teams

    At the state DI tournament, the 5th grade team took second place and won a special spirit of DI award for Instant challenge. The 6th grade team also finished 1st and won the Renaissance award again. Both qualified for globals! Congratulations and good luck at Globals!
