  • Attention students going to Washington DC, there is a student/parent meeting tonight at 7:15, with a chaperone meeting before that at 6:00 PM. Attendance is Mandatory.

  • The XC team ran the Troy Twilight on Saturday. This meet is a competitive environment as it always has a lot of runners. Weston Hoover was our top HS boys runner coming in 117th out of 348 runners, setting a season PR of 20:37. Ava Mowery was our top HS girls runner coming in 108th out of 347 runners with a time of 21:13. Emma Davis was our top JH Girls runner coming in at 48th out of 324 runners with a time of 14:17. Grant Cleveland was our top JH boys runner earning a season PR of 12:13, coming in 34th out of 364 runners. Also earning a PR on Saturday was Nate Keating, Johnathon Young, Hayden Lewis, and TIffanie Pleiman. We will be back on the course this Saturday at Versailles. Come support your XC team!

  • Tonight the FFA is hosting their annual movie on the lawn event starring The Bee Movie. Start getting seats and snacks at 7:30 with the movie starting at 8:00pm. Bring your friends and family for a buzzing good time!

  • The read through for the fall play will be at 3:20 in Mrs. Van Luvender’s room. All cast members should have received an email invitation to a Google calendar with the rehearsal schedule. If you expressed an interest in planning costumes or set, you are welcome to join in and learn the show.

  • Run, don’t walk to Chipotle tonight! The cross country team’s dine-to-donate fundraiser is tonight from 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM. The team would appreciate your support and participation in making this a successful event. Plus, it gives you an excuse to not cook or clean the kitchen! Bring your family and friends!

  • The XC team had an exciting night at Piqua’s Under the Lights Cross Country Meet Saturday night. Earning season PR is Weston Hoover, Konner Pleiman, Jayden Pleiman, Ava Mowery, Kaelyn Richardson, Emma Davis, Kinzie Allinder, Annabelle Harding, Clara Kelly, Hayden Lewis, Paisley McDermit, Grant Cleveland, Brennan Diehl, Zach Cruz, Landon Heitman, Nate Keating, Zach Lukey, Dominic Richardon, and Johnathon Young. Brennan Diehl and Kaelyn Richardson not only had a season PR but a career PR as well. Ava Mowery placed as our top girl runner with a time of 20:56. Konner Pleiman and Weston Hoover were our top boy runners and finished in a tie with a time of 20:42. Emma Davis was our top JH girl runner with a time of 14:01 and Brennan Diehl was our top JH boy runner with a time of 12:22. Congratulations to the entire team for their performance.

The deadline to sign up is today.

  • Houston XC had an eventful race day at Greenville from running with no shoes to lots of PRs! Congratulations to Jayden Pleiman, Elizabeth Fogt, Gabriella Harding, Kaelyn Richardson, Grant Cleveland, Brennan Diehl, Zach Cruz, Landon Heitman, Zach Lukey, Zach Stephenson, Johnathon Young, Kenzie Allinder, Hayden Lewis, and Paisley McDermit for earning a season PR. An additional shout out to Elizabeth Fogt and Brennan Diehl for their season PR also being a career PR! Our results also include Ava Mowery being our top HS girls runner placing 13th out of 119 runners. Konner Pleiman was our top boy runner with only one shoe! Grant Cleveland came in as our top JH boys runner placing 19th out of 194 runners and Emma Davis was the top JH girls runner placing 48th out of 199 runners! We will be back in action this Saturday at Piqua. Please come out and cheer on your Wildcat team!
