  • The National Honor Society wants to thank everyone for their contributions to the Thanksgiving Food Drive. We had another great year, collecting a total of over 1,200 items! The High School winning grade is the Seniors. The Elementary winning grade is the Third Grade!

  • Indoor Track practice will begin after Thanksgiving break, Tuesday’s and Thursday’s 3:15-4:30 PM. Please meet in the connector.

  • There will be a Philip Abbott Junior Honor Society meeting for current members in Mrs. Maier’s room on Friday, November 21st.

  • Junior High Students! The Junior High Dance is tomorrow. The Student Council is excited to present Fall Funk for our theme this year. The dance will be from 7:00-8:30 PM in the Commons. Tickets are $3 at the door. There will be concessions available for purchase. We hope to see everyone there!

  • Student Council members: a reminder that we will be decorating for the Junior High dance tomorrow after school until 4:00 PM. Please plan to help.

  • The kickball finals will be on Monday during Wildcat Time. 9th Grade Team 1 will take on 10th Grade Team 2 in the Championship Game. All eligible students in grades 7-12 will go outside on Monday.

  • Today is the last day for the food drive, please bring any donations to the stage.

  • NHS members: a reminder that we will assemble the Food Drive items today during Wildcat Time and then transport the items to the food pantry after school. Please plan to help, if at all possible.

  • Junior High Students! The Junior High Dance is coming up on Friday! The Student Council is excited to present Fall Funk for our theme this year.   • A new volunteer opportunity is available. The YMCA in Sidney has an upcoming youth gymnastics meet at which they need help. They need scorekeepers, concession workers, and event timers, which are simple jobs that they will show you how to do on the day of the event. If you are interested in earning some community service hours, please stop by the office and see Mrs. Merickel for more details and information on signing up.

  • Students and teachers mark your calendars. This year we are going to start a new Thanksgiving tradition. Our Thanksgiving lunch, as prepared by our wonderful kitchen staff, will be on Monday, November 24th. Students I will share details with you during your lunch period this week.

  • Students on Thursday, we talked about setting yourself up for success. In your lockers, you will find the personal growth goals you wrote. Let this serve as a daily reminder to continue to work toward the things within your control to meet your personal goals. In addition, you found a spoon on the outside of your locker today. If you have not already done so, please take this spoon and hang it in the back of your locker as a reminder that we are going to put our spoons away and use our feedback sandwiches when sharing difficult feedback with a fellow classmate.
