Congratulations FFA Food Science Team!
The FFA Food Science Team consisting of Hannah Hollinger, Megan Maier, Jen Oliver and Collin Walker placed 1st out of 42 teams qualifying them to the state contest on December 7th. Houston FFA also had teams place 11th, 16th, 17th, 29th and 31st. Individually Megan Maier placed 3rd, Hannah Hollinger 8th, Iona Downing 23rd, Collin Walker 27th and Jen Oliver 29th out of 151 individuals. A total of 24 members of the FFA chapter competed in the Food Science CDE last week at Covington High School. Congratulations to these FFA members and good luck at state!
