Spelling Bee
Hardin-Houston Local School held the spelling bee on Wednesday, December 4th. Deijah Weidner, 5th grade, won the bee after battling first runner-up Lauryn Crim, 6th grade, all the way to round 19 where Deijah spelled the words gallium and palladium correctly to emerge victorious. Second runner-up was Alex Ginn, 3rd grade. The next level of competition will be the Lima Regional Spelling Bee after the first of the year.
