Superintendent Message Week 7
As we enter week 7 of on-line instruction, I am impressed daily by the continued resilience and work ethic that is being demonstrated by our Wildcat students and staff members in addition to the support that our parents are providing throughout the school closure. I would like to touch upon a few items this week that proves the spring season is finally upon us. The FFA greenhouse, under the direction Mr. McCracken, will be open the next two Saturdays mornings for only individuals who pre-ordered flowers and plants via the on-line form. If you pre-ordered items you should have received an email outlining the pick-up procedures that will be followed the next two Saturdays. It should also be noted that the FFA will not be selling mulch this spring due to our modified greenhouse sales; it will return next year! The second item I want to touch upon seems like a broken record. Events like graduation, prom, and kindergarten screening continue to be at the forefront of the vast majority of Ohioans and especially so for our Hardin-Houston community members, parents, and students. As you well know the state and health officials meet daily to provide the latest updates with regard to “opening Ohio” and the restrictions in place. Dates and information for the aforementioned events will be shared with you as soon as the district’s administration receives the needed guidance. Take care and Go Wildcats!
