Fall Sports Awards Program
Houston High School held the Fall Sports Awards Program on Sunday, November 13th. Golf award winners were Ethan Lukey with the Low Stroke Average, Reagan Steiner received the Most Improved Award and Parker Herrick was the Wildcat Award Winner. Volleyball award winners were Emma Kemp with the Best Offensive Player Award, Emma Duncum with the Best Defensive Player Award and Ella Crim with the Wildcat Award. Cross country award winners for the boys team were Wes Vondenhuevel as the Top Runner, Isaac Wills as Most Improved, and Ethan Davis with the Wildcat Award. Cross country award winners for the girls team were Mekayla Pleiman as the Top Runner, Emilee Earl as the Most Improved, and Alicia Crawford with the Wildcat Award. Several athletes were also recognized for earning All League honors. Receiving 1st Team SCAL were golfer Ethan Lukey. 2nd Team SCAL honors went to cross country runner Wes Vondenhuevel. Receiving honorable mention All SCAL were volleyball player Katie Maier and golfers Parker Herrick and Tanner Voisard. Congratulations to all fall athletes!
