Spelling Bee
Hardin-Houston Local School held the spelling bee on Thursday, December 8th. Heidi Jenkins, 8th grade, won the bee after spelling the word starboard correctly to emerge victorious after 9 rounds. First runner-up was 8th grader Deijah Weidner. The next level of competition will be the Lima Regional Spelling Bee after the first of the year.
