Winter Sports Awards Program
Houston High School held the Winter Sports Awards Program on Tuesday, March 4th at 6:30 PM in the commons. Boys basketball award winners were Skylar Bowman with the Best Offensive Player Award and the Best Defensive Player Award, Reagan Steiner with the Wildcat Award, and Jeff Leist with the Rebounding Award. Girls basketball award winners were Emilee Earl with Best Offensive Player Award and the Rebounding Award, Olivia Burks with the Best Defensive Player Award, and Lily Vazquez with the Wildcat Award. Cheerleading Award winners were Brandi South with the Spirit Award and Lilli McClenen with the Wildcat Award. Winter athletes that received All League Honors were Emilee Earl with 1st Team All SCAL and both Skylar Bowman and Olivia Burks with Honorable Mention All SCAL. Emilee and Skylar both received 1st Team All District 9 for Division VI and Emilee was also named 1st Team All Southwest District. Congratulations to all winter athletes!
