Spelling Bee
Hardin-Houston Local School held the spelling bee on Wednesday, December 10th. Elli Rust, 5th grade, won the bee after spelling the words chignon and galleon correctly to emerge victorious after 148 words during 7 rounds. First runner-up was 4th grader Oak Raterman. Elli moves onto the next level of competition which will be the Lima Regional Spelling Bee in March.
