District Power of the Pen
Congratulations to the 7th grade Power of the Pen team who placed first in the Regional Power of the Pen tournament held this past Saturday at Lourdes University in Toledo, Ohio. There were a total of 27 different schools represented at this tournament. A big shout-out goes to Ava Widmark who placed 11th individually. Zevvon Schutte and Zane Hina, 8th graders, also received their awards for Best of Round and Director’s Choice at the District Level. 7th-grade team members include Claire Holscher, Teagan Rauch Alivia Brown, Adisson Douglas, Taylor Wagner, and Ava Widmark. 8th-grade members pictured are Kaelyn Richardson, Lacey Naseman, Zane Hina, Zevvon Schutte, and Bentleigh Willingham. The coaches are Jenni Paulus and Janet McClurg.
