- Students this is a reminder that you are not to have beverages in the hallways or classrooms that do not have a screw on lid. All cans must stay in the commons area. Please see pg. 10 of your Student Handbook for details.
- All Cross Country runners: Do not put your bookbags and personal items in the locker rooms after school due today. The locker rooms will be used for the home volleyball games. Bring all of your belongings to practice. You can put your belongings in the press box.

- The Houston Student Council will be having their first meeting today during Wildcat Time. We will meet in the Media Center. In case anyone forgot over the summer, here are our Student Council member for 2025-2026:

Just Write in Mrs. Van Luvender’s room - What a great weekend for Houston XC at Bob Schul! Konner Pleiman was our top HS Boy runner with a time of 21:14 placing 84th out of 317 runners!. Ava Mowery was our top HS Girl placing 17th out 225 runners with a time of 21:27. Brennan Diehl was our top JH High Boys runner with a time of 12:38 and he placed 33rd out of 420 runners. Grant Cleveland also placed 38th in that race with a time of 12:43. Emma Davis was the top JH Girl with a time of 14:42 and she was 56th out of 325 runners. All runners showed up and had a great race day! We’ll be at Greenville this Saturday!

- Any Jr high students interested in robotics. There will be a meeting during wildcat time today in Mrs. Church’s room.
- Roll the Dice schedules are now available in room 102. Any high school student interested in playing Dungeons and Dragons is welcome. Students with questions should stop in during Wildcat time today.
- The Athletic Boosters will once again be doing a drawing for $100 cash for any high school student who works a shift in the concession stand for the Fall athletic season. Check the Athletic Booster’s Facebook Page to sign up!
- Senior Athletes please be sure to check your emails for the Athletic Booster’s Senior Spotlight Survey. We want to recognize all of our Senior athletes this year by letting them pick a new concession stand treat!

- Congratulations to the XC team on completing their first race of the season and braving the rain! Konner Pleiman was the top runner for the HS boys team with a time of 12:38! Ava Mowey placed 7th with a time of 13:29 and she was the fastest sophomore. Brennan Diehl was the top JH boy. He had a time of 5:57. Emma Davis was our top JH girl with a time of 7:00. We look forward to seeing them all in action this weekend in West Milton.
